Practical web tools with visible methods and limits
Tools.viweb.net is maintained by ViWeb Technology for developers, site owners, security teams, and people troubleshooting everyday web infrastructure.
How the tools are built
Most text, conversion, generator, and formatting tools run inside the browser. Network checks that cannot work reliably through browser security restrictions use ViWeb-owned Cloudflare Workers, Cloudflare Pages Functions, or documented service endpoints.
Network data sources
The IP tools use public connection checks and network registration or geolocation data returned through the project's IP lookup service. DNS, HTTP, redirect, SSL, SMTP, and Whois tools make live requests because their results depend on the current state of the submitted host or address. Individual tool pages describe important behavior and limitations.
Accuracy and responsible use
- Network results are a point-in-time observation and can change after a DNS, CDN, hosting, or routing update.
- IP geolocation is approximate and cannot identify a person's exact address or identity.
- Browser behavior can differ from a server-side HTTP check because of caching, cookies, JavaScript, and user-agent differences.
- Generated security material should be reviewed before production use and protected like any other credential.
- Important operational changes should be confirmed with the authoritative provider or a second data source.
